Maje’s Gavino shacket is cut in a beautifully substantial brushed wool-blend plaid, with an oversized shirt silhouette, statement patch pockets and a detachable belt to pull everything together when required.

The camel, black and subtle blue check is particularly good — expensive-looking, wonderfully French and remarkably easy to wear. Throw it over denim, tailoring or a black mini and boots and accept the compliments.
